An IoT Based Worker Safety Helmet Using Cloud Computing Technology

Miner safety and security is a major challenge around the world due to exposure toxic gases that are frequently released in underground mines. Miners' health adversely affected primarily by gases, which endanger workers' lives. Furthermore, human sensory abilities do not detect these dangerous gases. As result, this paper proposes monitoring system includes temperature sensor, humidity gas sensors harmful alert miners those using smart helmet they wear. These transmitted control station via cloud Internet of Things devices. The monitors parameters like temperature, humidity, methane carbon monoxide any abnormalities miner buzzer on helmet. data processed Thing Speak cloud, enables users communicate internet-connected devices displays field graph data.
